Building Trades National Medical Screening Program
Did you ever work at a Department of Energy/Atomic Energy Commission site? If so, you are eligible for FREE medical screening services.
The Building Trades National Medical Screening Program (BTMed) provides:
- FREE work history interview and FREE medical screening exam.
- Check and detection if you have health concerns.
- Re-screening every three years.
- Compensation (if eligible) under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). EEOICPA provides compensation to workers or their survivors for illnesses caused by exposure to radiation or other toxic hazards during employment in the nuclear weapons industry.
