Asbestos-Related Disease Screening
Attention Active & Retired Members!
Medical clinic, OccuCare, will conduct asbestos-related disease screenings for all active and retired members who have been exposed to asbestos while working in the trade. Screenings will take place on August 4th in Wichita and August 5th - 7th in Kansas City. Legal representatives will also be present who practice extensively in the area of asbestos litigation.
Criteria for testing are individuals who:
- Have been occupationally exposed to asbestos in the trade, in the Navy or in some other trade or occupation prior to 1976; and
- Have at least five (5) years occupational exposure to asbestos prior to 1982.
