Pledge to Elect Leaders Who Will Stop Right to Work - (7/6/2016)
Pledge To Elect Leaders Who Will Stop Right To Work
This November, we will elect the next governor of the state of Missouri. And there couldn’t be more at stake for our families and our communities. Our state’s economy is out of balance, and working people just can’t seem to get ahead.
Our current governor stood with working people and helped us beat bad bills like “right to work” and paycheck deception that make it harder for people to support their families and make our communities less safe. We’ve got a lot of work to do if we’re going to make sure that our next governor is a champion for working families, too.
That person is Chris Koster, and we’re going to need all hands on deck to get him elected.
Sign the pledge now to volunteer to help us elect leaders, like Chris Koster, who will fight for us and oppose right to work, paycheck deception and other dangerous bills.
During his time in the state Senate and as attorney general, Chris Koster has proved already that he will continue to put what’s in the best interest of working families first. Koster plans to invest more in our children by fully funding our school system, and he wants to help working families by protecting our right to negotiate together to create better workplaces and make a good living.
If we’re all going to have a fighting chance to get ahead, we need someone in Jefferson City who will fight for us. But it’s up to us to make sure that people know what’s at stake in this election. That’s where you come in.
Pledge now to volunteer and talk to voters, so we can ensure we’re able to stop right to work and other bad bills from passing next year.
In Solidarity,
Mike
